ACE (Arts & Cultural Enrichment) Committee

The ACE Committee is dedicated to the enrichment of music, visual, and performing arts at EHS. This committee enhances and supports the arts in every Edgemont discipline, through programming, promoting awareness of the importance of arts in the school, advocating for new and expanded art, music and theater opportunities for our students, and providing financial support for arts-related academic and extracurricular programs. This may include visiting artists and speakers, special programing, materials and equipment for classroom activities, new clubs, outside consultants, grade-wide assemblies and performances, etc.  In the past, ACE has funded master classes, supplemented field trips, and purchased musical instruments, cameras and digital arts equipment. We put in creative hours behind the scenes for the High School Drama and Musical, and the Junior High Musical, and develop events such as the High School Arts Admissions program. For information on ACE Committee meetings and events, see the district calendar. To contact us, please email edgemont.ptsa.ace@gmail.com.

STEM partners with faculty, students, and parents to support clubs, organize competitions as well as our popular STEM career night, and purchase classroom equipment, such as PCR lab equipment to perform CRISPR gene editing.
